AOC Mont-sur-Rolle Grand Cru, “la Part des Anges”
Harvested from old Chasselas vines. This wine is barrel matured on lees for twelve months, which makes it full bodied and elegant, with a note of vanilla. The idea stems from winegrowing friends on a visit from Burgundy.
Goes well with seafood starters, poultry, veal, asparagus strong-tasting chesses, but also with desserts.
Ideally serve at: 14-15°C.
Ageing potential: 5 to 7 years or way beyond.
